Employer supported volunteering, (ESV), is a mutually beneficial partnership between companies and their employees to engage in charitable or community-oriented activities. This practice not only fosters a positive corporate image, but also cultivates a sense of social responsibility within your team. By participating in ESV, employees gain opportunities to contribute meaningfully to causes they care about, develop new skills, and build stronger connections with their colleagues and communities. Ultimately, employer-supported volunteering serves as a catalyst for positive social change while enhancing employee morale, teamwork, and a sense of purpose within the workplace.

We are looking to expand our involvement with Employer Supported Volunteering, and we are growing a bank of opportunities and experience as more and more organisations incorporate this opportunity for their colleagues.

We understand for many small volunteer involving organisations coordinating ESV opportunities can be too time consuming and overwhelming, so that’s where we come in, matching companies with opportunities for their employees.

Some recent successes….

We were approached by East Kent College in Broadstairs to enable four teams to participate in different opportunities as part of their ‘Community Action’ week. We were able to set up opportunities with Monkton Reserve, Mama to Mama, and the Powell Cotton Museum.

We recently coordinated an opportunity for a London based ticketing company to come down for a day by the Ramsgate seaside to help Ramsgate Society prepare the stunning Victorian shelters for refurbishment and to help the Salvation Army with various tasks.

So, if your organisation has been putting off that job that could use many hands, such as ripping out a hedgerow that had been caterpillar decimated, or painting your Victorian shelter, but you just haven’t had the time to organise a volunteering day, then contact us as we can help!
