In 2024, we launched an accessibility project aimed primarily at the deaf community in Thanet, Dover district and Folkestone & Hythe, offering support to Volunteer Involving Organisations (VIOs) to recruit and support deaf volunteers.
This also includes wider accessibility resources and networking and learning opportunities available to all VIOs across all three of our districts Dover, Thanet and Folkestone & Hythe.
