Youth volunteering
Calling young people aged 14 – 24. We need you! This pilot project aims to encourage young people to volunteer and to bridge the gap between young people and volunteering opportunities in their community.
Accessible Volunteering
Our accessibility pilot project is aimed at encouraging the deaf community to volunteer, and offers support to Thanet charities, community groups and CICs to recruit and support deaf volunteers.
Volunteer bulletin
Our volunteer bulletin is sent out once a month and it’s filled with the latest volunteering opportunities from charities and community groups, plus we often include details of our latest popular training courses and other events and news.
Training for volunteers
Our FREE introductory level courses are basic, accessible, supportive, friendly and informative. Aimed at people who may need a confidence boost before taking those first steps towards volunteering, these courses are run in partnership with Kent Adult Education and attendees will receive a certificate. Our courses include Skills for Volunteers, Confidence Building and Customer Service. All courses include a FREE lunch, plus tea and coffee, and any travel expenses will be reimbursed.
