Description

Working with young people can be one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences in life. The opportunity is there to change young lives for the better and have your own life changed in return. As we help others to build their skills and understanding of the world around them, our skills and understanding are also built. There is nothing quite like it.

Here at Hythe Youth Centre, we are are looking for volunteers to support our youth and community activities including:
– Youth Clubs.
– After-school clubs.
– Holiday activities.
– Daytime drop ins.
– Community garden.
– Short and long term project work.
– Events.

What do we need from you?
– Open minded and willing to learn from young people, staff and others.
– Compassionate nature and caring attitude.
– Anything from a couple of hours a month to a few hours each week.

You will need to complete a DBS check and take part in an interview. We can provide informal and accredited training to support your development.
