Description

Volunteer needed to assist in the running of a Poppy Appeal stall for two weeks, Saturday 25th October – Saturday 8th November, in either Whitfield or in Dover. You will be with another person and not responsible for the collection tin.

What rewards come with volunteering, and how does it create meaningful change?

You will be actively helping members of our armed forces, who have given their all in service to keep our country safe.

The biggest reward is hearing people’s stories of their loved ones who are still serving, or who are now veterans.

Requirements

Volunteer will be available for an introductory meeting.

Assist with the running of a stall for a morning or afternoon to sell poppy merchandise. The volunteer will never be on their own or be responsible for the collection tin.
