Description
Love gardening or just fancy some time outdoors?
Join us every Wednesday 10am – 3pm at our kitchen garden for relaxed gardening and maintenance sessions.
We’re always looking for volunteers willing to help us plant seeds, maintain the plot, and keep it supplying fresh fruit and vegetables to The Perfect Place to Grow kitchen.
You can drop by for an hour, just come once, or come every week – everyone is welcome!
Requirements
While we hope to make the space more accessible in future, right now we can only welcome volunteers without existing cardiovascular, neurological or musculoskeletal complaints onto the field for horticultural work. If you’d just like to come by and see what’s going on, have a cup of tea and meet some new people there are no requirements whatsoever (although for the time being the space is not wheelchair-friendly).
Tools, tea and biscuits provided.
Just come dressed for the weather.
