Description

First Response Care Group are seeking 2x directors for an adult day /social centre to assist with the following :

Compliance: Ensure the CIC complies with all relevant laws and regulations, including those for Community Interest Companies (CICs).
Financial management: Keep accurate accounting records and file annual accounts with Companies House, even if the company is dormant.

Pay corporation tax.
Statutory filings: Submit documents like the confirmation statement, report changes to officers or the registered office, and register any charges (like mortgages).
Promote the success of the company: Ensure the company is run in accordance with its constitution and company law.
Community interest test: Make sure the CIC’s activities continue to satisfy the community interest test and that its assets are used for the community’s benefit.
