Accessible Volunteering
We have launched an accessibility project aimed at the deaf community, offering support to charities, community groups and CICs to recruit and support deaf volunteers. This project includes more general resources on the topic of accessibility and networking and learning opportunities available to all VIOs across Dover district, Folkestone and Hythe and Thanet.

We organise networking and knowledge events – and we create best practice resources and bespoke best practice training for VIOs to help on your group’s volunteering journey.
Employer supported volunteering
Employer supported volunteering, (ESV), is a mutually beneficial partnership between companies and their employees to engage in charitable or community-oriented activities. We can help you link into this valuable resource.
Training for volunteers
Our FREE introductory level courses are basic, accessible, supportive, friendly and informative. Aimed at people who may need a confidence boost before taking those first steps towards volunteering. These may be suitable for your clients, members or existing volunteers.
