Description

The Ramsgate International Film and TV Festival will take place from the evening of Thursday 26th, then daily from 27th to 29th March 2026 inclusive.

We will require volunteers to meet and greet ticketed and non-ticketed attendees at 4 locations in Ramsgate.  

Ideally we would like volunteers for 3 hour shifts between the hours of 11:00 and 22:00 daily.

What rewards come with volunteering, and how does it create meaningful change?

In return for volunteering, each volunteer will receive a festival pass, giving them free access to all films, shorts, documentaries and Q&As taking place during the festival.  

We will also provide drink refreshments i.e. tea/coffee/water and snacks throughout their shift.  

Travel expenses or accommodation will be not be payable as we would like to attract local volunteers.

This opportunity would be great for anyone interested in film and TV as there is the opportunity to meet like-minded people and to meet film-makers, producers and directors.

Requirements

Volunteers over the age of 18; an interest in film/TV would be mutually beneficial but not essential; outgoing personalities and confidence to guide and instruct people i.e. to bathrooms, to sit down when required and to keep quiet during performances!
