Description

As a charity we can continue to help cats and kittens in need thanks to the donations we receive at fundraising events from generous members of the public. Our fundraising event helpers have the exciting and varied role of helping at local fundraising events – such as cakes sales, barn dances, quiz nights – and everything in between!

You can expect us to

Requirements

You’ll be

  • help set up and/or man stalls at events
  • help on collection days like supermarket collections events or street collections
  • help at fundraising events such as quiz nights, cake sales and dances
  • promoting a professional image of Cats Protection at events

Our fundraising volunteers will be based remotely and can connect via our Kent online community hub – as well as at regular meet ups and events. You will also have local branches and centres that you can support nearby.

When signing up to be a volunteer at Cats Protection; you will be requested to complete an application form, book an informal chat with us about the role, attend an online induction and do a few online training modules and short reading which are specific to this role. We also ask for emergency contacts and two references.
