Description

East Kent Climate Action (EKCA) is forming a team of volunteers willing to be trained on the use of a TiC Thermal imaging Camera.

Between 15th November and 1st March, the colder months, Deal town residents will be able to email EKCA and book a 15 minute time slot between 5:30 and 7:30pm, for a two volunteers to call at their home and take thermal pictures, informing the residents where heat is escaping from their home. EKCA will then email photos to residents with an info sheets on how to save on energy bills and prevent heat escaping.

What rewards come with volunteering, and how does it create meaningful change?

The satisfaction is in helping people reduce their energy bills.
