Description

The Landmark Centre, operated by The Deal and Walmer Community Association, has endured years of underinvestment. However, since November 2024, a dedicated team of new trustees and volunteers has stepped in to safeguard its future and lead a bold revitalisation effort.

Our vision is to reimagine the Landmark Centre as a vibrant, inclusive hub that reflects and responds to the evolving needs of our community. Building on recent progress, we are repurposing underutilised spaces, launching community-driven initiatives, and laying the foundations for long-term financial sustainability—ensuring the Centre thrives for generations to come.

What rewards come with volunteering, and how does it create meaningful change?

This is a wonderful opportunity for volunteers to become part of something special and have a real say in the Landmarks future.
