18+ Befriending Flexible Home Visiting
Description
We are always looking for befrienders or volunteer visitors to visit sight impaired people in their own homes.
Our befrienders can also accompany people on outings or visits to friends (or simply go out for a walk!).
It is a very rewarding role and a fantastic opportunity to make new friends.
What rewards come with volunteering, and how does it create meaningful change?
This opportunity allows the volunteer to make new friends, feel more connected to their local community and really make a huge difference to someone’s life.
Requirements
No real requirements other than friendly people who are happy to both chat and listen.
We try and make the role as flexible as possible around your personal schedule and circumstances.
This role does call for an enhanced DBS check, which we will carry out for you.
