Arts in Ramsgate will be delivering a free creative workshop in collaboration with University of Kent as part of the High Street Social Club project:
Art of Feeling Good – Saturday 10 February 10am to 3pm
They would love to hear from volunteers who are available for a few hours to take part in and support the workshop. Further details available here.

Diabetes – Can you help?
Join Diabetes UK in Thanet as they campaign to raise awareness of diabetes and support those living with the condition.
They would love to hear from Events Volunteers who can give a few hours to man stalls, give out leaflets and help with logistics. No experience required, training provided. Volunteers should be confident speaking to people and have a ‘can do’ attitude.

The White Cliffs Countryside Partnership has a new task programme for February. It’s packed full of volunteer events and activities – dip in as an when it suits you!
Deal Museum is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented volunteer to join the team as a Volunteer Archivist. As the Volunteer Archivist, you will play a crucial role in preserving and organising historical records and ensuring they are accessible to the public and researchers.

Gardening opportunities available for green fingered volunteers in the Walmer area. No experience necessary.
The Welcome café in Walmer, runs on Saturdays 10am – 12noon at St Saviour’s Church on The Strand. They are looking for volunteers to help with serving tea and coffee and toasted tea cakes and crumpets. Anytime offered between 9.30-12.30 to join the team would be very welcome. You don’t have to be a church goer! This is an important space for the local community to pop into the church to catch up and stay warm and any help would be most welcome.

The annual Marie Curie Great Daffodil Appeal will be taking place this Spring and the charity would love to hear from anyone who can spare 2 hours to support their campaign.

East Kent Mencap will be holding a one day event on Wednesday 12 June for adults with a learning disability to encourage them to get active! There will be workshops and displays from sports and leisure groups.
A team of volunteers are needed to help run activities, set up and clear away, and stewarding.

Could you be a Virtual Buddy? Volunteer from home and join the team of Sense Virtual Buddies, making a difference by supporting young people who may be lonely or isolated. Training provided and Sense match volunteers with disabled people to provide one hour a week of contact.
