We are seeking dedicated and compassionate volunteers to join our team at our warehouse at Manston Business Park, one or two days a week.^.

This role is vital to our day-to-day operations and directly contributes to our mission of supporting vulnerable families

Mama to Mama is Thanet’s first and only baby bank, supporting vulnerable pregnant women, caregivers, and children under 5 living in poverty, through preloved essentials, grants, workshops, and support to help give every child the best start in life.

We strive to give every newborn and child under five the best start in life.

We believe all caregivers deserve access to essential items and resources they need for a healthy and happy beginning for their family.

We also champion circular-living by rehoming high-quality preloved items and diverting from landfill. 

Training: All volunteers receive induction and training, including relevant health and safety procedures and safeguarding policies

Requirements

• Donation Processing: Assist with sorting, organising, and checking the quality of incoming donations of baby clothes, equipment, and other items
• Care Package Curation: Help create and pack bespoke care packages tailored to the specific needs of families
• Inventory Management: Support the team in organising and maintaining the inventory within the storage area to ensure an efficient workflow
• General Support: Assist with other warehouse duties as needed to support the team
