Description

Margate Queer Library has received hundreds of queer banners from marches and protests, which can now be borrowed for ongoing activism. As part of the Heritage Hotline project, we’ll be working together to digitise them so we have a record of these important artworks.

We’ll start with tea and a brief introduction to the process, then spend time photographing banners, uploading files, and categorising them on the computer.

No prior experience is needed—support will be available throughout.

Requirements

Must be able to walk down 1 set of stairs to the library.
