Description

Deal’s Braderie is now run by a group of volunteers who couldn’t bear to see it end.

We’ve done a lot of work already but we’re keen to find volunteers who can help everything go well on the day.

If you’d like to help it go swimmingly, please get in touch.

If you have First Aid skills, even better!

What rewards come with volunteering, and how does it create meaningful change?

This is a community event which benefits the whole town. There will be a sense of collective endeavour for the good of the town.

Requirements

Your role is to help ensure the market is safe, welcoming, and well-organised.
Key responsibilities:

• Monitor pedestrian safety.
• Maintain road closure points.
• Prevent unauthorised vehicle access.
• Assist traders and visitors.
• Report issues immediately.
• Support emergency services if required.
• Be polite, calm, and approachable at all times.
