Description
Volunteer gardener needed for our garden at Dover Buckland Family Hub, The Linces, CT162BN – (and eventually Deal Linwood Family Hub, CT149UU at a later date).
Some experience with gardens, outside spaces, plants, weeding, cutting and landscaping would be good.
What rewards come with volunteering, and how does it create meaningful change?
The volunteer gardener will be able to work at their own pace, transforming the space for local families.
Requirements
Person must be reliable and committed and will need to have the attitude, time and patience to maintain gardens and courtyards to a good standard.
Would be most suited for a person who has some experience in gardening and maintaining outside spaces. This person can do this during Hub opening times, 9am- 5pm, Monday to Friday, or after closing time which will be after 5pm or at weekends.
