Description

Are you organised, reliable, and looking for a rewarding volunteering opportunity in the Thanet area?

Volunteer club leader required for social group Reflections in Ramsgate that meets fortnightly on a Monday afternoon at the Copperfields in Newington. This is a social and support club for blind and visually impaired adults living in Thanet.

The group has refreshments and has regular activities such as speakers, entertainers, quizzes, table games and most importantly fun.

We are looking for someone to take a leading role in organising the club entertainment, transport and outings, though support will be given by other volunteers and Kent Association for the Blind.

What rewards come with volunteering, and how does it create meaningful change?

It is a wonderful opportunity to benefit the lives of people living with visual impairment locally.

It is also a fantastic opportunity to meet new people and make new friends.

Requirements

The role is subject to a DBS check, which will be carried out by Kent Association for the Blind.
