Description

As a Volunteer Greeter & Refreshments Support Volunteer, you will help create a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment for people accessing our mental health service. By offering a friendly welcome, providing refreshments, and helping people feel comfortable while they wait, you will play an important role in enhancing the overall experience of clients, carers, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients, carers, and visitors in a friendly and respectful manner.
  • Offer tea, coffee, water, and other refreshments where appropriate.
  • Help maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming reception or waiting area.
  • Engage in light conversation to help people feel at ease.
  • Provide information about facilities and direct people to the appropriate area or member of staff.
  • Respect confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries at all times.

This is a flexible role which we are looking for volunteers to cover all 5 days of the week – this may be from more than one volunteer and will be a minimum of one day a week.
