Description

The Knees Woodland is a huge wooded area within The East Kent Railway Heritage Site.

We are looking for volunteers to become part of our woodland ranger team, to help us care for the land, keep it maintained and tidy;

plus help with our different projects, such as creating a nature garden, a well being garden, new walking pathways and more…..

The East Kent Railway is a completely volunteer run heritage site and we want to build our volunteer teams to help keep our beautiful woodlands and railway station looking the best it can.

Requirements

This role is suited to anybody who has a passion for or wants to learn more about woodland, nature, wildlife.

Must be able to navigate uneven pathways and handle clearing areas of woodland.

Can attend the site regularly.
